Sententia ("we") operates the Sententia web app and mobile apps. This policy describes what we collect and why.

Account data

If you create an account, we store your email, display name, and a hashed password. Session tokens authenticate API requests.

Taste and usage data

We store your taste profile, watchlist, session history, reviews, and collections to sync across devices when signed in.

Payments

Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Mobile subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google via RevenueCat. We store subscription status, not full payment card numbers.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) on the web when configured. No third-party ad tracking.

AI features

Ask AI and pick explanations send prompts to our servers, which may call OpenAI using title and preference context. Do not submit sensitive personal data in prompts.

Deletion

You can delete your account from Account settings in the app. This removes synced data from our database.
